Our site on Tavistock Road.
We are inviting feedback and questions on our plans to develop land that we own on Tavistock Road. At the moment, our intention is to build 12 flats on part of the site which was previously occupied by the boxing club which has relocated to Jubilee Hall on Wedmore Vale. At least 20% of the flats will be affordable housing. Any money we raise from the sale of the remaining flats will be invested into The Park to secure our long term future. We are intending to submit a planning application in early September. We are holding an open morning on Wednesday 7 August at The Park. Please drop in anytime between 10am and 12 Noon if you would like to talk to someone from The Park face to face. If you would like to give any feedback online, you can fill in a survey here or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Any revisions to our plans will be available to see on 21st August at The Park so that there is time for further comment before we finalise our application. If planning is approved, we would start work on site in January 2020. We want to be considerate neighbours and do our best to use local people and skills during the development. We will also do our best to ensure that workers on site are considerate to local residents and that the site is kept safe and secure when there is no-one working there.
